Need More Koodo

Hi Koodo, I currently use your service but my fiancé is looking to switch over from Rogers. Do you have a couples plan or buy out from other companies to switch over.

No buy outs from Koodo sorry. There's no couples or family plans however if you have 2 or more lines on one account you will have the advantage of free calling between those lines.

Hi Brit, In regards to the plan, Paul's answer basically sums everything up. How many years does your fiancé have left with Rogers? Rogers (and the Big 3 in general) are known to be a bit sketchy with these kind of things. Rogers tried to tell me my previous contract expired in September (and charge me $125 in early cancellation fee) when my contract clearly stated August. I had to file a formal complaint with the CCTS to have this resolved. I would recommend also familiarizing yourself with the CRTC Wireless Code: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/info_sht/t13.htm Good luck!

While technically not a buyout, retailers like The Mobile Shop have lots of good store.gift card offers for getting a new Koodo phone activated - either a brand new account or adding a line to your existing, which is what I'm assuming you're doing. This would help you guys out with your Rogers contract.

You get 25 tab credits for both lines when you refer a friend to Koodo!

Be careful though, as multiple lines on the same account are not eligible for Refer-A-Friend. So you can either get unlimited calling between multiple lines on an account, or get separate accounts and take advantage of Refer-A-Friend to get a Tab Credit on each line, but you can't have both 😞.

Hi Hippie 🙂 I thought I can refer someone and add him/her on the same account. (Refer-a-Friend FAQ said I can Do it too.) Did it change? "Can I refer someone who I add on to my account? Sure, no problem!" http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/refer-a-friend/can-i-refer-someone-who-i-add-on-to-my-account
