My New Plan Backfired!


Dear koodo, my billing almost doubled and my phone won't go online? I changed to an unlimited plan so I wouldn't be charged extras?

Did you change in the middle of a billing cycle?

The overage rate might be from your older price plan prior to you making this change. Any overage will be on your bill a month later while the monthly service fees are always billed 1 month in advance.
I suppose - but they have you coming and going when these plans are offered after you get a newer phone - I'll pay the bill and hope that the new unlimited plan kicks in...

I'd still check your ebill on your self serve account to double check the charges. If you're still not sure call customer service and they will confirm this is indeed what happened.
