Koodo should offer 6G data on their Canada wide plans!

Telus offers a 6G data Canada Wide plan so Koodo should be doing the same.

Why? Telus & Koodo are not the same company.

Telus owns Koodo.

Telus Corporation does. Not Telus mobility.

Your title is misleading ... Koodo doesn't offer 6GB, it's Telus. Should be: "Telus now offering 6G data on Canada wide plan!"

Never "should" on people.

Telus provides different services other than sell phones. No real reason for a 6GB plan to be offered(though I wouldn't exactly complain if one was offered).

Keep your eyes peeled. It may happen, it may not. No one can say anything until it happens.

Telus' promo 6GB plan (3+3) costs $105/month (regular price $120/month) http://www.telus.com/wireless/share-plus.jsp If you get Koodo's promo double the data (4GB) plan for $75+$20 (2GB pay per use) that's $95/month (regular price $105/month) https://shop.koodomobile.com/plans/plans/index.html

Silly boy, don't you know that most customers would rather pay that $30 a month for those extra 2-3 GB whether they use it or not?

They are paying for cost certainty with no savings what so ever. Koodo needs to advertise this better because some people aren't able to realize this on their own

Then the advertising gets way too complicated. If a customer asks a sales rep about the lack of a 6G plan, then the rep can point this out.

I'm sure the marketing team can come up with something. Koodo should just do a whole Pay-Per-Use thing. Don't call it overages. Overage has such a negative connotation. Pay-per-use makes me think I'm not paying for it if I don't use it

Koodo does have a pay-per-use for data. It's on their talk & text plans.

I mean they should call it the same thing for their regular data plans too. And additional minutes should be called pay-per-use as well

They can't because it's the wrong terminology.

You can't say that minutes or data are pay per use when your plan already charges you for minutes and data every month. You could, perhaps, call it pay per use overage, but in that case why change anything.
I have 6g data, 250 day time minutes. Evenings starting at 5pm free with free weeekends. Unlimited text and sms. Free incoming calls. Canada wide calling, voice, caller id, call waiting. All for $63.00/month.

You said that 🙂 I'm happy for you but it's no longer available (except for a select demographic group) so don't rub it in too hard, it hurts even without you gloating, lol!

Not bad, but I'd like to see that plan with only 2 GB data, priced at $40.

^Considering that wasn't even a close possibility before the 2 year contract changes, I highly doubt it now. It would be nice though
Would love 6G 8G 10G plans, may be changing to a provider that suits my needs because of this. They also increased the data to 20$ a GB overage which is just obscene....

I agree with the overage part, that's just crazy. However I can't see a real need for a 6GB plan unless you're trying to use it as your primary internet source for your computer if you're out on the boonies, at which point I recommend a Turbo Hub or rocket stick plan because they'd be better value for data-only.

Thats exactly why I need more! But its so much simpler just to have one device/bill instead of two
