Koodo's Awesome $15 unlimited USA Roaming, Text and Data

Userlevel 1
Just wanted to praise Koodo for their $15 one month unlimited roaming, unlimited data and unlimited texts while in the USA!........................ Oh wait a minute that was Windmobile. Sorry about that I forgot you have the unlimited talk and text with 500mb of data for $75. I miss the days when Koodo had the best plans.

Screw roaming. I wish they offered that for canada!

Yeah Aaron, talk to Chad about it... Sold as and praised for being "unlimited" and yet, after 1000 minutes or so, they cut you off... Screw the unlimited moniker, put a damn number on the supposedly non-existent limit (so we know what to expect) and be done with it. No more of "at our discretion" or "under certain conditions" crap. Arbitrary sucks, real numbers don't lie.

Didn't realize about their limited unlimited definition. Koodo still charges 5 times the price for theirs so it is still a damn good deal. I just wish koodo would actually try to compete.

Except they are competing. You can't tell me a company that has coverage for like what 8 cities is competition? Not to mention (from what I hear, I don't live in one of their areas) that you have trouble getting reception just because you entered a building. Doesn't sound like real competition to me.

Used wind since February. Since I drive truck, I needed more than Koodo could offer and the wind plan seemed great. But about two months ago I got cut for talking too much! I complained to the CRTC and wind promptly apologized and then rewrote their TOS to define the types of activities that were considered fair use. So despite wind advertising it as unlimited, in actuality it's 1gb and an unspecified minute bucket. I'm back with an American prepaid company now.

Wow!!! Things like that break any faith I might have had in Wind. And it's not the first time where they seem to practice the bait and switch approach.

Chad, didn't they say there were too many short calls, but also too many long calls

Yes that was also a problem as they say that's abnormal use.
