Koodo raising their prices?

The other day Virgin Mobile raised their plan prices

This one used to be $30 per month and is now $45!

Now all of Koodo's plans say limited time offer! Does this mean Koodo is raising their plan prices by $15 too??? If you guys dont know if they are raising their prices what do you think about possibly raising them by so much?!?!

Koodo raises and drops prices all the time, so for sure they will raise them after the limited time offer. Nobody will know by how much or if they'll start new limited time offers the very next day or a week or a month down the line. All the carriers usually follow eachother and keep prices pretty much the same across the board so I wouldn't be surprised if they raise them that amount unless Virgin had some type of restructuring to their plans that cause the increase.

Glad to see pricing going up in Rest of Canada.
Hopefully prices will rise so high that it'd be a no-brainer for new entrants to jump in and offer competitive plans 😃
I've had silver plans on Virgin that cost less than that.
To be fair, prices on plans will likely get better when back to school promos kick in.

There's not going to be any new entrants into the Canadian market, infact we've been losing the smaller ones we had or were coming every time there's been a glimmer of hope

Would the store know? Likely not, until just before the change. Store management might get notice so they can remove any promotional material, and inform staff, but the real effect is when a particular plan cannot be set up in the Point of Sale terminal.
