KidPlans - Koodo provides a safety net!

Our oldest son is now old enough to stay home alone, but we need a phone for him in case of emergency. He does not need an expensive plan on an expensive phone, just something for contacting his father and I, or calling 911. $30.00 a month is rediculously expensive for an emergency phone. Koodo needs to offer a KidPlan for $10.00-$15.00 a month. If Koodo still offered the Tab to kids, then by the time my son is a teenager, he could get himself a really nice phone, and Koodo would keep his business. It's security for the home and good business for Koodo.

They have it. On their prepaid plans. $15 will get your son unlimited messaging every month, http://koodomobile.com/en/on/plansandboosters.shtml No tab though but you can get an inexpensive previously loved phone as a starter. https://shop.koodomobile.com/phones/bargain-bin/index.html

Totally agree with Chris. Also, you can buy a talking booster which will give him some minute that are valid until he uses them. In other words, they never expire
