Grandfather Plan Removal But +TAB balance for New Phones!

Userlevel 1
Personally I believe those who have the 6gb plan before for 60 dollars is pretty unfair compared to new users playing quiet a difference in cost, 94 for only 5gb. I suggest the removal of these plans in which would make it fair for each user. However, these users with the previous plans would get something in return for instance a certain amount of positive money onto their tab for future phones. This would make everyone happy! Cheers

Ummm no? Koodo would be opening a huge can of worms if they removed people from their plans. Just because you didn't get a chance to sign up for it doesn't mean they should have it taken away so you don't feel as bad. And no, I'm not on that plan. I'm actually with Telus paying $85 for 6GB
Seriously ? If someone wins a lottery , do u take money away from them just because you didn't ? If someone owns a Lamborghini , he's not allowed to drive cuz u don't have it ? People have paid huge cancellations cost when they moved to these plans from another carriers and choose Koodo over Fido or virgin.

I think in canada it's called Taxation and equalizatiomn payments. In the US it's called socialism. Marx called it communism. LOL But yea I would be pissed if this idea ever got implemented. it would give me greater incentive to switch providers every 2 years to get the new activation.gift cards

Lottery is by chance... And luxury cars is is depending on status and not when someone signed up for something a year ago but cannot sign up now, just saying

So you think it is going to benefit customers to take away a grandfathered plan from them which they legally obtained and are entitled to in the first place? Interesting... you better not find a job in real estate.

My aunt and uncle were able to buy their first house in 1965 for $19K. Of course, I find it really unfair that I paid $150K for mine in 2012. Guess I was late to the game. Tough luck! They should lose their house and pay up, just like I'm doing now... SMH....

First come, first serve. You didn't get it? That sucks. Don't take it away from others just because you didn't grab it when it was available.

There is no way to remove grandfathered plan from old customers. Also I don't feel it's unfair compared to new users paying more for new plans. Many old /existing customer wants some loyal rewards, but Koodo allowed us to keeping this grandfathered plan. I think it is kind of reward for me as I have 4 of them in my account 🙂

The Ideas section is actually full of ways to make people leave off their grandfathered plans...... OMG unlimited data, and talk, and MMS + international roaming + call forwarding + unlimited voicemail + cashback on birthday + $2K HumongousTab + free flexible case + free hard case + free pink case + case cologne + free breakfast on the first Sundays of each month + free gas for as long as you have your phone + ElTabador calling you personally to thank you for finally paying your bill after 4 months...........................for $20! Such a plan would most likely end all other grandfathered plans!
