Free the Internet! (UNLIMITED DATA)

Koodo would become the leading cell phone provider in canada if it could provide customers with unlimited data for 30-40 dollars a month. People in my generation dont call, we use the internet and we text. Unleash a badass data and text plan and I will never, ever leave. Wind offers it, you can to. Profit isn't everything, at least it shouldn't be. Start a trend and others will follow.

You should talk to your ISP about unlimited internet. Not gonna happen on a mobile provider.
I have unlimited internet with fibe, and there is no reason that koodo cannot do it. Wind does, and with promo plans as low as 25 for unlimited everything, at a very very low cost. All koodo needs to do it make data unlimited in the main usage zones (gta and hamilton/niagara) OR make it available evenings and weekends like they do with calling.
I haven't a clue as to what a Fibe is. Wind's service area is completely horrible. It's fine if you never leave the area. That's not the point of "mobile" though. I'd rather have service all across Canadan than unlimited data in a small service area.

Fibe is Bell's exclusive TV and Internet service, utilizing fibre optic cables for super high speeds and some inherent advantage over typical Cable setups.

...and don't forget The Doctor, when you sign up for Bell's Fibe service, you also get Bell's outstanding customer service, at no additional cost! That right there is reason enough to sign up! You can thank me later.

Believe it or not, so far customer support has been outstanding...in fact, they are always polite, on time, and cater to our needs perfectly. Not at all affiliated with bell here, just an honest and surprised customer. And now, we have had 6 months of perfect service, no outages, no speed issues, just rock solid reliability. Better than I got with cogeco.

Consider yourself the lucky exception more than the norm then, hehe
Fibe is bell's home service. Consisting of IPTV, and internet delivered over either fiber to the home or fiber to the node(street), and copper to the home. I agree winds coverage is not the greatest, which is why i made the suggestion to have it unlimited only in major areas, with it defaulting to whatever your plan was out of the coverage zones. makes sense to me...
Your internet isn't through mobile, it's through Bell's ISP network, BIG DIFFERENCE. You're asking for unlimited mobile data. Yea, Wind offers it, but no serious mobile provider is going to provide unlimited mobile data.

The difference is Wind's calling zones are smaller, their reception isn't as strong/reliable, and while their data is unlimited, it's at throttled speeds and even moreso once you hit the 5GB mark.
And I'd rather my mobile data not be throttled.
Keep in mind these opinions are coming from a cash starved teenager.

I always tell my 2 teenagers to go to Free WIFI place if it's possible. 😛 When you are out many places like Starbacks, Mcdonalds offer free WIFI as part of their service, so use them and you don’t have to use up your data. 🙂

I travel in rural areas all the time. Although well covered by cell towers, the roads I use don't have McD's and Starbucks along the way. Using my phone's data while I'm sitting in the passenger's seat would be great and entertaining, but because it's not infinite and overages are, well, overages, I have to find joy in reading and playing FreeCell+. THAT is when I long for unlimited data.
