Does Koodo offer virtual phone numbers?

A virtual number, also known as DID or access number, is a telephone number without a directly associated telephone line. Usually these numbers are programmed to forward incoming calls to one of the pre-set telephone numbers chosen by the client; either Fixed, Mobile or VoIP.

I do not think koodo offers this but if you need to change your # to an out of province #, I think you can do that through calling CS.

It can be done through self-serve, no need to call.

I mentioned changing the number to a different province #, for those numbers you would have to call. http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/change_phone_number_different_province

I managed to port the number to another province through self serve. I don't know if his is the norm.

MB/SK/QC phone numbers cannot be changed to numbers from other provinces through self-serve because there are cheap plans in those provinces due to real competition. You can do this through self-serve if you have a number from other provinces.

You can get a virtual phone number from another company and forward it to a Koodo phone. You pay twice if someone calls it - once to the VOIP provider and also with Koodo, although the VOIP number is usually pretty inexpensive and you can get unlimited calling in a Koodo plan. Some of the VOIP phone numbers even let you pass text messages through to a mobile phone.
Yeah, it's possible to apply to another one provider and make this operation. I'm user with big experience, so I know verified one called Freezvon. They have different types of DID virtual numbers for any country you want, so it's up to you what service to choose. Here https://freezvon.com/virtual-numbers.html you could find more for yourself. I'm as businessman-beginner got number for US cause have partners from there. By the way you could order any additional service for your number if you want.
