Hi George,

Was your voicemail upgraded recently? If so, you must call your voicemail from your Koodo phone first in order to set it up.
I do not have access to my phone...I am in Europe. I never take my phone but always access my messages

Like I said, if your voicemail was upgraded while you were in Europe, you'll have to wait to call voicemail from your phone to get is setup for remote access again.

I never requested an upgrade...can I phone from a friends phone in Europe? Or by email? It seems very strange they would make changes without my permission? I was very happy with my voicemail ....and I am on the road for another month. Yikes.

All customers are being upgraded to a more recent version of the voicemail system. You can find out more about it here. The only way to get it setup again is by calling from your Koodo phone. You need to have it with you in order to get it done.

Ahhh. I wish. I live on Galiano Island...closest neighbour is a ways a away...and unfortunately I locked my house. If this was for personal use only I would not be freaking out...but I migrated my business from Bell to avoid the "upgrade" nightmares. Even a warning would have prevented this mess. I get very tired of companies doing things like this "to serve me better". And of course my boss is wanting to fire me. All of my sales in Europe are going to this number. Yikes x 1,000. I appreciate your suggestion.

They sent warnings about these upgrades via SMS, which again is only good if you have the phone with you, which most people do. Perhaps you could get yourself a pay as you go device in europe for the time being.
