Changing to a low-fee plan

I’m travelling for a few months to a country where Koodos doesn’t work. But, my account doesn’t allow me to change to a low fee (e.g., below $30) plan.  Is there an option for me in Koodos?

Do you currently have a Tab with Koodo? If so, you can only change to certain eligible plans with your self serve.

if you had a Tab you can look into this option called “seasonal hold” https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/keeping-your-account-open-when-travelling

if you don’t have a Tab, and Koodo didn’t work there, you can move  your number to A voip service and when you return to Canada, you can port it back.

Keep in mind that when you come back, you’ll have to chose from an in-market plan. If the plan you have right now is good, you might be better keeping it until you come back.
