Changing plans within a month of signing up


If I sign up for Koodo Mobile today and a promotion shows up in say 15 days can I switch to that plan? Or do I have to wait 30 days to switch? I know I can switch once a month but I'm wondering if signing up for koodo counts towards a plan change? I tried searching for this specific question but failed. Thanks for your help.

You don't have to wait 30days, but you have to wait till your billing cycle to reset. Example: If you sign up a plan today-19th- and your billing cycle end say 25th (billing cycle is determined by the system). Now you can change your plan on 26th.
Thanks. So could I call to see when my billing cycle would end/start before I sign up? I'm just trying to protect myself from missing a promotion that might show up after I sign up.

Your billing cycle would be determined after you sign up

If they start promo plan right after you sign up, they will switch to it without problem.

Promotional plans tend to run for at least a month, so no matter the billing cycle, you should get a chance to switch to a promo plan, if one becomes available.

Generally speaking through self serve you can only change the price plan once per billing cycle. If self serve won't allow you to do it contact customer service and they will change the rate plan for you if you cannot make the change yourself. Keep in mind to ask to get the $10 rate plan change fee waived since you couldn't do it if that's the case.
