Hey Nowwww Amy, You need to have Data Enabled on your Device in order to send pictures using MMS. It's the way these newer SIM BASED phones work. If you have a data block on your account you'll need to call koodo to have that removed. If you don't have a data block you'll need to enable it on your device. For Android : Setting , Wireless and Networks, More, "Enable Packet Data" or "USE DATA" or "ENABLE DATA" should be checked For Blackberry 10, Tap Status Bar, Tap Settings, Network Connections, Mobile Network, Slide the Data switch to "ON" position. Meaning I need to actually have a data plan on my phone, plus changing the setting? So unlimited text messages plan is not enough, correct?

Okay, it's a little confusing... Picture messages need access to the data network to go through. So technically they do use data. However, since your plan says that sending pictures is "Unlimited", it doesn't matter! Your phone can do it regardless if you have a data plan or not. The only issue you may run into is if you have apps like Facebook, weather, news apps, emails, etc. that auto update, then once your phone detects that data was turned on, it will proceed to update those things, which can cause bill headaches for people since you don't have a data plan. Chad has suggested that the "buffer" for data included in any Talk and Text plan be increased a little bit to compensate for this common issue, so we'll see how that goes. For now, if you can edit your APN settings (Android), then you can allow picture messages to go through without using "internet data". Take a look here: http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/change_apn_to_disable_internet_while_enabling_mms_on_samsung_ace_2 I'm assuming the process is similar for BlackBerry 10 (if possible)... I'm not 100% sure about iPhone and Windows Phone. Best of luck! Let us know if you have more concerns/questions.

Just tried it. Changing the apn on BlackBerry 10 does not work. It reverts back.
