Changing monthly plan, data available immediately?

Hi, 

I’m on a pay monthly plan.

I’m needing to upgrade the plan for tomorrow from 4gb to 8gb. 
 

I’m just wondering if I do this, will it be available straight away (I need to stream a wedding ceremony on Zoom tomorrow). 
 

Will the data available show on my online account straight away

The new plan data is applied right away. BUT you only receive a prorated amount of data from the new plan based on how many days left in your billing cycle. So if you have 15 days left, you will only receive 4GB. In the next billing cycle, the full data amount will be available. You can find more here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/proration

If you need a lot of data, you could try to switch to the plan which has the most data. In the next billing cycle, you can switch back to the normal one.
