I recently got a text from Koodo stating that I could get the S24 FE basically free while keeping my current plan ($44/month) for the next 2 years. I'm trying to go through with it, but I'm unable to checkout. Am I just blind and can't see the pay button, or is Koodo expecting me to get a new plan? Am I missing something?
Thank you.

Do you get an error on check out? Have you tried disabiling any extension you may have?

No, it just puts me through a loop where going to "select plan", then choosing "keep current plan", only to end up back on the previous page.
Here are a few screenshots, if it helps.
Go to select plan and then see if your current plan or equivalent shows up
I'd say, no. Don't get tempted into a contract. You'll be locked for 2 whole years. My friends in Ontario are paying $29 including tax for 60GB and unlimited long distance calling. They ported multiple times as Bell had promotions and giftcards throughout the year at staples.
The 24FE is usually underwhelming but might be good for you as I already on an S22 ultra. If you own a good device already then, it's a huge NO.

Actually, one of my screenshots shows that page. When I select "keep my current plan", I get redirected back to my cart. Absolutely nothing changes. I have a feeling that I may have misinterpreted the offer, and isn't as good as I originally thought it was.
What does the offer say?
Can you post a screenshot of it? Just edit out any personal info

I get what you're saying. Honestly, I wasn't planning on changing providers anyway, so it wouldn't have made a difference (if I was getting the phone for free, that is), but at least, now that it doesn't look like I'll be getting it, I'll have the option to switch whenever.
I wasn't that crazy about the S24 FE, and my current phone (Pixel 4A) is still working well. It was more so just taking advantage of a good deal.
Thanks anyway.

Sure!

BTW, from your screenshots I saw you're paying 44 for 25GB??. There are much better deals going on now. Shop around for better deal. For example public mobile is giving US/CANADA/MEXICO plan with 60GB for $34.
your current plan isn’t a tabplus plan, it says current plan: retail. the phone is free only when you get a tab plus plan, that $49 plan is tabplus and will be eligible for it.
Let me flag a rep for you
Also have you tried to click select plan after selecting your free phone @FrozeGhost ?
There may be a better $44 plan available to you

I noticed that, too. But the text I got from Koodo states that I can "keep the plan I love", which, at least in my head, insinuates that I don't need to change the plan I already have (or, in their wording, love).

I would read it the same way @FrozeGhost

Yeah, one of my previous screenshots shows the page after clicking "select plan". My plan comes up as "current plan", while the other more expensive options are shown below. Clicking on my plan just brings me right back to the first page.
Ok I understand. I have already flagged a rep. Hopefully they will respond soon

Thanks, I appreciate it!
Hi there @FrozeGhost
Could you please log out of Self Serve, log back in, and try processing your upgrade again? It should go through. Let us know if you encounter any further issues!
Hi @FrozeGhost, your current plan is not eligible for a tab. You have a $49 plan loaded to your account that is eligible for all tab types and is also eligible for the auto-pay $5/month off discount. We’d recommend switching to this plan as you would pay the same monthly. Let us know if you can see the option. If you can’t change the plan, we can change it for you.

It worked, thank you!

Hi. The text message made it all pretty confusing, as it made it sound like I was able to keep what I had. Anyway, I went back in and finally got the option to keep using my current plan (the screenshot below)! Unfortunately, I didn’t see the $49 plan you mentioned, only a $54 down to $49. But it’s alright. Thank you for the help!
