$39 for 20 gbs, why is this plan for new customers only ? I have 2 active line and no tab, can easily take my business to fido as they have the same promo. Silly strategy.
They are just matching the same deal as other carriers. So if you were a Fido customer and saw their deal, you would not be able to get it unless you upgraded your device.
Instead of switching carriers, I tried upgrading my phone but after I enter all the CC details, the order fails by saying the phone isn’t available anymore…. frustrating.
Some parts of the country switching to another carrier is not an option because of bad coverage. Telus has the best coverage where I live so that is why I stay with them / Koodo.
I have the same problem! it says the phone It’s not available. I’ve trying with different cellphones but nothing ! I can't buy them🤔
I called and said give me the plan or I cancel.
They transferred to loyalty.
Loyalty said sure but there will be a 15 dollar charge.
I said then I guess I’m calling Virgin.
Suddenly they didn’t need to charge me 15 dollars.

Myself and spouse are on a tab, so I can understand not being able to grab the plan for us, but my daughter is on a BYOD plan and $39/20GB is way better than the $45/6GB I’m paying right now, so I might have to make a similar call. 🤦♂️ Unless one of the reps on here can help me out and save me the hassle. (Email on this account is the same as with Koodo and the prefix of the line in question is 663.) :)
This makes no sense to treat existing customers this way. We should be able to transfer current plans to this new one with no issues. I would also like to have this applied to my daughters phone plan which has no tabs on it.
