Wireless home phone not working, just getting blinking orange battery light.

Last night I bought the wireless home phone solution (ZTE WF721) and brought it home. Plugged it in and all I am getting is a blinking orange battery light. Nothing else is happening and I am unable to find any information on what this light means and what I need to do? I've called the store I bought it from but no answer. Any ideas of what this is and how to fix it?

This document for a similar device suggests the battery may not be properly installed. Have you checked it?

Thx for the reply. Yes I've checked the battery installation but no luck. It appears to be installed correctly and the problem remains

Yeah, I had it plugged in all night hoping that was the problem. But even after all that it's still blinking

Hey Jason,

I'm thinking that it is not getting power. Whenever it's on battery power, the light blinks. If you have a solid light, then you are getting power. Try using a different power outlet and confirming the power outlet is properly working.
I've tried a couple different outlets with no luck.

I'd recommend going back to the kiosk to swap it out then. Seems like something might not be working properly with the charging.
