Will my Oukitel phone work on the Koodo Netwok?

I have an two Oukitel phones, one is a K4000 and the other a K6000. Both are unlocked. When I put the SIM card in, the phone reads the SIM card but it wont connect to the carrier network. It always says "Cannot connect to this network right now. Please try later". Does anyone know if there is a way to get this phone to work, or are they simply not compatible with the Koodo network..

Here's a comparison chart of network specs for both the Oukitel K6000 and K4000.

Based on this information, neither phone is compatible with Koodo's network. The phone should connect if it has the basic 3G frequencies of 850/1900 MHz or frequency bands 5 and 2. The 3G frequency listing reported by both devices is WCDMA 900/2100 MHz or frequency bands 8 and 1, which is not compatible with Koodo's 3G HSPA network. This would explain why you're having difficulty connecting to Koodo's network.

In order for 4G/LTE to work correctly, the phone needs both the downlink and uplink frequencies. 1700 MHz for uplink and 2100 MHz for downlink.

Frequency band breakdown for both Oukitel devices:

B1 - 2100 MHz

B3 - 1800 MHz

B7 - 2600 MHz

B20 - 800 MHz

Specs for compatibility:

Anything CDMA only (such as Verizon-compatible) will not work.
Wifi capabilities have nothing to do with Koodo.
2G - not relevant, because not used by Koodo.
3G - 850/1900 minimum
4G/LTE - 1700/2100 Band 4

So the 4000 scores 0%. The 6000 should be good on voice/text and 3G data, and partially capable on LTE.

The K4000 has these specs and i believe the 6000 has the same.

WiFi: 802.11 b/g/n, dual band, hotspot

2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz

3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz

4G: FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz

The 6000 has these specs

850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz - GSM
800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2600 MHz - LTE
I believe they should work. Your phone should be capable on Koodo network but a Mobile Master can confirm im sure
