I have a Google 7 phone on Koodo and a Samsung phone on Telus.
I understand Koodo uses the same towers as Telus.
Why, when I am in downtown High River I can use my WIFI on my Samsung (Telus) phone and at the same time my Google phone has no WIFI access?

Just to double check, you are trying to use mobile data on your phone while you are in downtown?
Or you are connected to public wifi network in downtown and the connection is not working on your Google phone?
I would recommend putting the Koodo SIM in the Samsung phone. From there, you could deduce if the issue is from Koodo or the Pixel 7 itself.
