Why is Koodo sending my 2 phones by Canada Post

Userlevel 3
There is a good chance of a mail shut down on Jul 2. Why would Koodo not be proactive and use another delivery company? Not very happy.

Well it is Canada Day long weekend... I'm pretty sure all the couriers here will be taking the Friday off. Koodo uses any carrier they want for orders. Unless you mean there's a strike or something that's supposed to happen?

Yes there's a strike supposed to be happening Jonathan, I've recieved emails about it from our banks and other services that use the mail services of Canada post on how it could disrupt things with regular business practices.

We have backup plans Laurel! 🙂 Purolator will take over shipping in the event of labour disruption.

Thank you Bernard, but my phones were sent yesterday so there is a good chance they will be caught up in the mail disruption. What are koodos backup plans for that situation?

Thanks for responding. The email received from Koodo says ithe phones are being sent by Canada Post, but I was unable to open the tracking link with my ipad for some reason. I just tried with my computer and can now see the link is with Purolator. The tracking numbers are not working though, but I will give it another day.

Hey Laurel! It can take a few days before tracking info is provided. Your phones should come shortly! We hope you enjoy them :)
