What does the message 6UT2 mean when you call someone?

When calling a friend's cell phone, instead of getting the voice mail, I received a recorded lady's voice saying "6UT2" and something else. Does anyone know what that means?

Try google. Otherwise, give us the entire error message, not just the number/letter combination.

Generally, messages like that can range from a network issue, to an issue with the individual line you are calling. Are you able to call anyone else without an issue?
All other calls are fine. I didn't want to list it before, but she goes on to say "The number you have reached is no longer in service." Does this mean it was disconnected? Was I blocked? Does he/she have no service wherever he/she is?

The issue is with the number you're calling. The exact reasoning is unknown. Recommend you get ahold of your friend another way to find otu what happened.

Can you email your friend or Facebook message?

Yeah if it's saying the number is no longer in service, they have likely changed their number, cancelled their phone, or didn't pay their bills and had their service cut off.

There is a problem with your service provider, not ypur friend.

There is no need to resurrect four year old threads

Update. You are prolly with a company with limited satellite range like freedom mobile or koodo. Use someone else's with Rogers or bell and the sat range is better lol. It's not every time that the bill hasn't been paid or line is actually cancelled.... Just your shitty loaner satellite range
i get this too and the number i call is 100% in service any one else have ideas?
