I unfortunately dropped my 6-month old Samsung Galaxy S4 in the toilet, and brought it to a repair store for water damage treatment. The verdict: the phone is extensively damaged, LCD screen needs to be replaced so that alone with water damage treatment will cost $225. These repairs don't guarantee that other affected parts could eventually fail and as a result, I'm not sure what to do. I have the medium tab with Koodo, and am wondering what my best options are. Get it repaired, or get a new one. I currently have a closing tab balance of -225.00 on my plan, does that mean I'd have to pay that + $100 to get a new phone on medium tab? Whatever help and advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
