Unable to make phone calls. When I do I get a message saying Telus needs to urgently speak to me.


For the last two days I have been unable to make phone calls or send text messages. Whenever I try to phone someone, I get a prerecorded message saying Telus needs to speak to me urgently and to enter my phone number. When I enter my phone number the message says it is invalid. I am still able to receive phone calls.

Do you have a Koodo account or Telus account? Did you try dial *611 from your phone?

Sounds like there is a billing issue with your account. Is it asking for your PHONE number or your PIN number?
Not sure if this was intended as a praise...needs re-categorizing.
I managed to call koodo. They had put a restriction on my phone and have taken it away now.
