SMS message from old provider

I am switching my existing phone number from Videotron to Koodo but I never received the SMS message from Videtron to acknowledge this change?   My phone now says NO SERVICE.  Do I continue waiting for the SMS message to come or do I put in my Koodo sim card and continue the set up?

@a.kalamatianos Videotron is one of the few providers left that do not have two factor authentication enabled yet.  We are hearing that early 2021 they will have it.

You can just follow the steps outlined here to set up your account and all if you haven’t already done so:

Looks like the port started. If you already have your Koodo Sim card and its activated put it in your phone now.

That is likely because your phone is locked to videotron. You'll have to contact them to get it unlocked.
