Sim Card not provisioned

My phone has been boosted (stolen) I have suspended the service and got a new koodo sim card from Telus, when I  enter the koodo sim card number into my account I get the message that the sim card is not provisioned. contacting koodo has been nothing but a black hole run around and it is seeming that my only option is to travel to a koodo kiosk later today. 
But maybe there is a rep here that can help me and save me the trouble of having to travel across the city for a card again?

Is the message when you put the number on SS or when you try putting the SIM in the phone?

How did you suspend your service? and how did you reactivate your service. Did you follow the process as written by Koodo https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/reporting-your-lost-or-stolen-phone
