Hey i got a second line on my account 2 days ago but i got an email from public mobile that i can port my number over to them if i want. Its only been two days and i didnt use any mintues or data on the new plan. If i port my number over to public mobile, will both of lines get cancelled. when i ask people they say my account gets cancelled when i move out, but what about if i have two lines and want to keep one.

Was the 2nd line you just got a brand new number or did you port it over from somewhere else? If you port this 2nd line over, then during the port the line will be canceled resulting in a partial months charge (assuming your billing cycle has not come due yet). It may be easier to just return the phone and plan (there is a 15 return policy) since you havent used 30 min, 50 texts, 50 MB yet. And get your full money back and just create a new Account with a new phone number at Public http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/before-you-purchase/what-is-your-15-day-money-back-guarantee If you port just 1 number then that line will get canceled when it is moved, but the remaining line will remain active on your account?

@ Manpreet Could you post the email you received from Public here? I assume you are a Koodo customer right?
