Samsung S3 says no sim card emergencycalls only


my koodo phone says emergency calls only.. I have opened it up.. took the sim card out and put it back the same way. (as per the diagram) I turned it off and on again.. that worked the first time. but now it will not work? it will work as a wifi device.. but not for calls or texts?

Under settings Wireless and networks More Mobile networks Make sure use 2g only or use GSM only isn't checked.
it says insert sim card to access network services.. it thinks I don't have a sim card in.. but I do have one.. is it perhaps faulty?? for some reason??
should I be calling technical support?? do I call a 1 800 number??

Hi Karen, you should indeed give us a call. We can be reached at 1-866-995-6636, option #6. If it's a SIM card issue, you'll have to go to a Koodo store in order to get a new one. Thank you!

It may be a faulty SIM card or something went wrong with the activation. Koodo will definitely help you no problem!
