Roaming text with international text messaging

With international text messaging I was wondering what the term roaming text means? I sent a text message from here in Canada to the Philippines and now when I look online to see my usage that text is categorized as a roaming text. I'm just worried I might be charged for sending this text. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you have international texts, do not worry, you won't be charged for that text!

Hey Britt! Roaming means that you are using your phone while out of the country. All of our current plans come with international texting included (when you are in Canada and sending a text to an international number), so if your message was sent while you were in the country, you will not be charged! Is it possible that you were in a location that was close to the US boarder? In some cases, your mobile phone may connect to the US carrier if you find yourself close to the border as it might send a stronger signal, which can result in you getting accidental roaming charges. Once you receive your bill, confirm if you were charged for roaming or not, and if so then let us know here and we will look into it! 🙂
Thanks for the help and info!
