Ridiculous hold times on the phone

I've been on hold for 62 minutes already today (trying to cancel my account, no less) and still haven't talked to a representative. Is this normal?! I sure hope not.

The same here ... have been trying to get a credit back and every time I call, I am on hold for a long time and finally give up, so until now I haven't gotten my CR.

It's normal for this time of year, the call centres have been busy since mid-December.

Lindsey,

Unfortunately to cancel you need to call in.  usually when you call in they give you a call back option.  i recommend using this option as wait times are excessive lately

I tried that earlier in the day unfortunately and never received a call back so I decided to wait and 90+ minutes later gave up...sadly makes my decision to cancel infinitely more clear!

I had the same issue calling Virgin, Bell, and Fido for customer service issues today, so it's not just a Koodo issue.

I agree! Everytime I have to call in because selfserve DOESN'T WORK!!! I am on hold forever and their messages are annoying saying to use selfserve

Clarence, next time you have a problem, try asking your question on here first! If you need to speak with a Koodo rep about your problem you can try sending a dm via facebook or twitter and as well, there is a callback option when you call in so that you don't have to wait on hold.

Clarence is right. Some functions are not available on self serve. Restoring accounts due to non payment can only be reversed buy talking to a rep for example.
