Request for phone number to be sent to another provider

I received this message this morning and have not requested a transfer of my phone number. I tried the chat support which was not helpful at all and am not sure if I need to contact koodoo or not. 

"Koodo: We've received a request to transfer a wireless phone number on your account to another service provider. We've sent a text msg request to the wireless user to approve the request. This message is for your information only . Thank you."

@Gingdinger Pls call  1-844-232-7678 as soon as you can. If you didn’t authorize the request  we will try our best put a stop to the port.

Oh I would definitely contact Koodo if you did not initiate this transfer - they would need to know someone is trying to steal your number!
