Try Wi Fi reset, dial *#*#526#*#* If you tried Wi-Fi reset and not working, use 3G connection and download Wi Fi Fix apps from “Google play” , This apps is intended to fix any issue with Android phones Wi-Fi issues.
Is your phone connecting to the router but no internet or it is not connecting at all ? Also, is your router new or old ?

I don't find the stock Android Wifi management adequate if you are connecting to more than one network so I use an app called "Wifi Manager" and thereafter all my problems have gone away, so you might give that a try and see if it helps. At least it tells you what is going on (i.e. what the Wifi is trying to do right now, etc.). You can always uninstall it if you don't find it helpful but I couldn't live without it 🙂
Its not connecting at all... It normally connects automatically... The name shows up but it says not in range when i am exactly right beside the router... 😞

So it was working fine with the same phone and same router ? If so you have to backup your data and then do a reset to factory settings. it should fix your problem

Hey Ashvin, I also suggest contacting your ISP for assistance with your Wifi connection issue. If they can't get it to work then it may be an issue with the phone. At that point, it would go under our warranty. ________________________ If you see a good answer, give it a star.
Well I am not in the country till the end of August...I am on summer break holidays...i brought the phone along with me...so now how do i go about contacting my ISP? is there anything i can do online to get this fixed? Please help? Is the warranty word wide? Can I get it fixed at any Samsung store over here?
