Problem texting friend

My friend, who is with Virgin Mobile, is not receiving some of my texts, and I am not receiving some of theirs. Every text I send gets a successful delivery report. I am wondering if this is a problem between Koodo and Virgin, or something wrong with one of our phones. Note that I can text anyone else without problem.

If you can text anyone else without issue than I feel like the issue is on their end.
