Port Protection removal for deaf/hard of hearing?

I’m trying to port my phone number to another provider.  They say there is Port Protection on my phone to prevent it from being ported elsewhere.

The only option i have available to me is a callback, but the problem is i can’t hear on the phone, and i need some way to contact them via email or chat.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Contact them via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM.

Turns out i got a great rep “Jose”!  He was helpful enough to understand the situation, and he set up a call back but also reached out to me via SMS.

It came down to:


$25 grandfathered plan (200 minutes canadawide + unlimited sms + no data)

vs

$25 plan (unlimited minutes canadawide + unlimited sms, + 1gb 3G data + unlimited 128k data afterward)

 

I tried to discuss this with a real person, but the chat bot didn’t care. It’s still not finalized yet though *hint*, but will be today @ 11am EST.
