Poor Cellphone Reception

Until recently, I had good cell reception in the Springfield, NS area. In the past month or so, the reception has been very poor with one or no bars. In most cases, no matter what time of day or weather, it is very difficult to make a call or send a text.  Is there a reason for this, e.g. a local tower problem?

Have you tried resetting your phone's network settings?

Which phone do you have?

Resetting your phone’s network settings sometimes resolves network connectivity issues. On Android devices, the network reset feature is usually found by going to Settings and then navigating to the backup and reset areas of the phone. On most Android devices, once you’ve entered into the Settings menu, you can perform a search for “network reset”.

On iOS devices (iPhone), go to Settings > General - scroll down to Reset and select Reset Network Settings.

Note: Performing this procedure (reset network settings) on Android or iOS devices will reset connections to cellular data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Meaning, you will have to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and reconnect Bluetooth devices. Mobile data will automatically re-enable itself, (turn off mobile data if not needed).

Are you the only once having this problem or other Koodo customers in your family that experience the same thing.
