Got a phone in April last year. Been having all kind of issues with it (BT and WiFi don't work well together, phone reports Wifi when no longer in reach and this DRAINS the battery in a few hours, pauses when playing music, voip and skype cannot be used reliably, reports slower speeds than a 3 year-old Samsung GIO). I registered the phone when I purchased it. Back in the fall, I went online on Samsung's site to realize that although I had registered it, it showed a name and email address next to the EMEI. I cannot even change it. Does Koodo sell refurbished phones as new? (got it in a prepaid package - it didn't look like it had been opened). I have been wondering what to do with this phone... Any ideas?

Koodo does not sell refurbished phones as new. I would not be overly concerned with what Samsung's site says. I advise you to contact customer service and see if they can send your phone for warranty repair. As your year of warranty is almost up, I'd advise you to do this ASAP. 611 from your Koodo phone or:
