Phone number transfer from videotron

I have talked to videotron representative that deal with phone number transfer and have been assured they received and accepted the demand for transfer i am now waiting for koodos to finalise the transfer.

What's going on with that and god no actual tech support u can call wow

The port is still not completed i cant receive calls or texts
Try calling the porting department and see if they can tell you if anything went wrong with the port.

I assume you ported your number in self serve?
How long has it been? Does your old videotron line still work? Have your restarted your koodo phone? What have you done on your end so far?

If you port to another carrier, the new carrier would have the responsibility to finish the porting for you.
I have restarted the phone.
And yes i did it throught self serve
its been over 2h

Self serve says i will have the number soon

Whats taking so long to transfer.
My old carrier received and accepted the demand for the port already

It could take longer than that, I would wait and restart the phone every 1,2 hours.
