No service only at one spot

I'm not able to receive or send any texts or calls in my bedroom but I don't have any problems at all everywhere else in my house. Why?

Hi Vicky, it could be that the reception is not too good where you live... or (hopefully) there is some technical problem in your area. Is this a new problem or have you experienced it before?
no it's not new. it's about a month now that I experience trouble with my phone. and I don't think it's where I live more than something in the structure of my house maybe? because it's working outside my house...

Did you try re-boot? The phone is on, take back off, take battery and Sim card out for a minute. Then put it back together and try the phone again.

I tried it and I even went to the koodo booth to change my SIM card and it's not working better with those things done. They tried to reset my phone too and it didn't worked either.

That's the limit to my knowledge Vicky. There are people in the Koodo Community that may be able to help you on this.

I am not sure either, Vicky, sorry 😞 As you said, it might be the location of your room obstructing the signal. Perhaps a lot of metal, or concrete in between the phone and the tower... basements are notorious for having bad reception and so are heavily shielded spaces. I'm at a loss too 😞 Do you have a home phone? We have a system (Panasonic X-TG7745S) that offers Bluetooth, and it's in a location with perfect reception. Whenever we are home, all we need to do is keep the phones within 10 feet from the base station and whenever someone calls on it, all our 5 phones ring. Might be useful for you, if you happen to be in need of a new home phone system 🙂
