No Internet service?


Why do I have no internet service on my phone? I pay for a data plan.

Hi Mae... What kind of phone do you have? Do you have minimum 2 signal bars on your phone? Did you verify on your settings to see if it is on? If the answer for those 2 questions are yes, try to power cycle your phone, so that is remove the battery for some seconds and turn it on again... Was your data working before? Give us a little bit more of details please...
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace. It shows 3 signal bars. I've tried with wifi on and with wifi off....cannot access hotmail or facebook. I powered the phone off and turned it back on .. still no internet access. I do not know how to remove the battery. My data was working yesterday.

Please make sure that the correct APN settings are entered into your Ace: http://support.en.belgacom.be/app/staticpages/devices/en/#/samsung/s5830-galaxy-ace/internet/manual-configuration/ For step 8, use the following info: Name: Koodo APN: sp.koodo.com APN type: Internet Ignore all other fields and save. Make sure you select that APN afterward. If your data still doesn't work, you may need to factory reset your phone.

Thank you for this excellent solution! I just switched over from Bell and wasn't able to browse any web pages on my phone without wifi. Your solution of adding the APN got me on the network! Thanks a million! 🙂
