New activation draw


I was thinking ... for every new activation we should have a draw that we enter them into for a.gift card or free month. (i.e. tim horton's, walmart etc) Just for a duration of a month. This would be great for those low traffic time periods. Get's us pumped up too because we can offer something nice for these people who are leaving their current companies or starting a new chapter in their cellphone lives.

I dont really think we would entice people for a chance to win something on a draw?. With a prize so minimal. Why not 100$ Visa.gift cards for everybody or something similar? Oh wait, we already have something like that $50 accessory bonus for new activations.

But this is that little extra mile we're doing for our customers. They obviously appreciate the $50 bonus.gift but why not a chance to get even more excited by putting their name in a draw for something else. I just think it would be fun and what customer wouldnt be excited to be entered into a draw at no extra cost!

This could work, but there is a slight issue. Draws do bring in the crowds for sure BUT there is only one winner. The rest may feel disappointed as one always would that they didn't win. That can result in people cancelling because they didn't win. It's a possibility. Maybe I'm over-thinking it. If it's all the same, I do think it's a good idea. 🙂
This is an aweosme idea. I hope Koodo will take it under consideration. Something like this could blow competition away.

Yay I love contests. However the people who are already Koodo customers may feel left out. I know I would. So maybe a contest for all present customers in good standing may be better. It would show appreciation of all customers

Thanks for the suggestion Lynne. We had a handful of contests that included our Koodo customers last year and they worked really well. Maybe we'll be open to doing another one this year 🙂
