moving to USA

Hi,

im retiring in USA,, currently I’m a Koodo client,,, does someone knows of a good American carrier for Canadians?

i will start with renting an RV and just drive around USA.. My trip will start with one year until I get settled and get a resident visa,,,,
Any ideas,,,

Fourth….as MilkyWay suggested it prepaid service is likely best. One that I would recommend is Ting. Nationwide coverage, access to 5G and great prices! It also has a Canadian connection since it was started by a few expats.

You are probably better off on a prepaid plan. There are a lot of carriers in the U.S., so I would suggest looking at one where the coverage area is good for the city you are staying in. Some of them include AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

You can always keep your number by transferring it to a VOIP carrier. You can do this by installing the Fongo app on your phone and transfer your number for a one-time $25 fee. That way, you can stay in touch with your friends through the app for free with your Canadian number.
