I had a person in store help me move my lines to Koodo from Rogers...they are all moved now but one thing that I didn’t ask, do I need to now cancel my contrakt with Rogers or is that automatically cancelled?

No, don’t cancel the Rogers service. You need it to be active so you could port your number from Rogers to Koodo https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-your-number-koodo
After the number transferring completed, your Rogers account is automatically cancelled. You should also receive a notice from Rogers about the cancellation.
