Lost sms service after porting my number

Hello, I transferred my number from Bell to Koodo 24 hours ago.  Call & data works fine and did almost instantly after completing the easy procedure provided on the website.  But I cannot receive any text, the sms service doesn’t work at all.  Koodo rep tried to help me and Apple Care rep as well (I have an iPhone).  They could not find the issue and told me to wait another 24h.  But I’m wondering if it’s going to work at all.  Any suggestion on how to solve this issue?

Sometimes the porting process can get hung up. If you never changed your phone, I’d wait the extra 24 hours and then check in again for further assistance. You may have to contact Koodo’s porting department.

Since you transfered 24 hours ago and I assume you restarted your phone, I would contact the porting department (844) 232-7678,
