My son recently lost his phone, which was on a prepaid account. Can we use a different phone, purchase a new Koodo Prepaid SIM card, transfer the old phone number to the new SIM card, plug it in to the new phone and retain the existing account with the prepaid boosters status and account history? Can this be done by self-serve or only through a Koodo shop? Or - are the balances on the boosters lost anyway, so starting over and transferring the phone number is just easier? As an aside, the existing account has been marked as suspended. Thanks, Andrew

Yup, you can switch the service over to a new SIM and then put it in the new phone. Phone #, boosters, etc. Stay intact. You can do this in Self Serve. You'll need to unsuspend the account for this to work, though.
