looking to get s3 does it come with gps chip?

im looking to get the s3 and was wondering if it comes with a gps chip. i use my current phone as a gps device when i geocache. i am also wondering if i need to have data to use the gps, my current phone does not.

Data is not required to use GPS, but it is typically required to load the maps used by the navigation app. If you use a navigation app which allows you to download maps to the phone it will not require data.
