I recently transferred to Koodo and I clicked bring my phone number over when I signed up online. But I received an email, giving me a koodo phone number. I’m wondering does that mean they didn’t carry my old phone number over? How can I resolve this?

The phone number is just a temporary number. Once you get your sim, you will need to login to self serve and you can port your number over at that point.
This way you won't lose your working phone number when the sim is still in the mail
