Before I ordered my phone I checked that it would work with Koodos network. I also confirmed, at a koodo kiosk, that the phone specs matched up with Koodo and that the phone would work in Canada. After it arrived, it simply did not. Two other sim cards that i tried did in fact work (they were not koodo sim cards) and my koodo sim card did not work. Rogers will activate this phone for me no problem... why should i stay with koodo if they lied to me and another company can easily fix this issue in minutes and not have me pay a penny more.

What kind of phone is it? Where did you order it from? Maybe it's the SIM card

If you went to the koodo store did check your IMEI? 99% of phones nowadays should work. Is in older model you bought?

If it'll work on Rogers, but not Koodo, that means that it's only compatible with 2G frequencies in Canada. If you want data, that'll be a rather painful experience over 2G.

[ why should i stay with koodo if they lied to me and another company can easily fix ....] I don't think they lied to you... What phone / model is it?
