Is there a way to track a phone number that is being blocked?

A number keeps calling me and it comes up "unknown number". It has called me three times in the last three days and they're harassing me. Is there a way to find the number out?

I don't believe so unless there is a court order for a number unfortunately.

I don't think there is a way for you to trace the number, C.C. Francis, but if I am not mistaken, you can report this to Koodo to investigate (just give them the times and what the person said) and they will hand it over to the proper authorities. Unfortunately though they won't tell you who they were... but if it was a harassing call, I'm sure the police will deal with it!

A court order has to be issued for a phone company to release a number to anyone even the authorities.

Ah thanks Kid, that sounds even more serious... if it's really really bad would it be an option to change your number, C.C.?

While I understand you would like to find out who is calling you, as others have indicated, it's near impossible to do so. However, if this harassment persists there are other options available. If you're using an Android device, there are several "blacklist" apps available. https://play.google.com/store/search?q=blacklist&c=apps Some newer Android devices incorporate a call rejection feature, however some devices lack filtering, in that the call rejection feature may not know how to block an unknown number and needs an actual phone number for the block to work. On some Android devices, the call rejection feature is accessed by tapping on your Phone icon and then tapping the Menu softkey (on your device) and then tapping Blocked callers or Call settings.
