The whole point of voicemail for me is to get a message ONLY if I'm not available to answer. Currently, my KoodoMobile voicemail is really annoying because voicemail activates if I don't answer after the 3rd ring. For me it's in most of the cases a way too short. If I do anything, I need to run to prevent turning on voicemail. The result is a tone of empty messages because somebody didn't want to leave a voicemail, then I need to call voicemail and delete them if I want to rid of annoying info on my screen that I have a voicemail.
Does anybody knows how can I extend the period before the call have been transferred to the voicemail?

Try this: (Confirmed that it works on Android 7.0)
Dial *#61# and write down the number that shows up.
Dial **61*1 number *11*xx#
Where xx is the time in seconds (not rings) you want to wait before going to voicemail.
Minimum is 5 seconds and maximum is 30 seconds
