We are told the internet service is active, can you please double check if the modem is connected to the coax cable outlet?
If it iscorrectly connected to coax cable outlet and it’s still not working, please try resetting the equipment and let us know if it works.

It's connected to the coax cable. I've tried unplugging, waiting, and plugging it back in again. I've also reset it. Still, only the power light is solid green, the DS light flashing and the LAN is amber.

There must be a way I can speak with them directly? Writing on a forum, through another team that isn't the internet team, can't be the most efficient way of resolving the issue. It's ludicrous.
As is the suggestion made through a Facebook chat with a Koodo rep that states the situation can be escalated, but it would take 2-5 days for a call back.
If this is the best Koodo can do, I am not sure I want to continue as a customer.
I’m surprised to hear of a 2-5 day callback timeframe outside of Black Friday. You can just go to Koodo Assist directly and request a callback and see when the next available time for one is.

Nope, I have an international number so I cannot request a callback.

If you don’t intend to get a phone line with a Canadian number, I would suggest using a VoIP service that provides you a Canadian number at no cost or very low cost. At least you can make and receive calls so long as you have a data connection to the device.
