Incentives for long time customers


Been with Koodo for 4 and a half years...convinced 2 other people to join. They have long since left and are happier with the competitors. I've cleared my tab and am trying to decide whether to stay with Koodo or jump ship myself. I spoke to a representative at a Koodo kiosk and she didn't seem to care whether I stayed. Just wondering if it's worth trying another kiosk? Are there any incentives for loyal long time customers.

There's a huge incentive for being a present customer if you have a plan of $30 or more right now you can get a new tab that is twice as big as it use to be, which would be $300 and you can keep your present plan which is alot better than the plans new customers have to choose to get that same $300 tab amount. Also to add I'd think twice about changing providers because right now all plans from every provider are very high and your not going to find anything as good as you have right now anywhere if your a customer of 4 hears and have a plan that fits you. If you cancel and then realize what new customers are having to pay you can't get your old plan back so if your going to cancel make sure you have found something first or you might be hung out to dry per say.

You get access to the new Tabs with the same rules that apply to new customers. Any promo plans that get advertised are not kept from you, you can switch to them too. You can upgrade any time you want still, and again going back to the Tabs, you can pick up a shiny Nexus 4 for $0 on a Medium Tab... unlike new customers, if you like your current plan, you can keep it (if it's above $30).You'll just pay a $5 Tab charge BUT it's a 15% contribution from Koodo as well and it's cleared after 24 months.
Thanks for the quick response! The one thing I learned yesterday is that I have to switch plans, my plan is so old (I'm paying 50 to 60 a month for a very unintelligent phone)! I might as well have a smart phone for the same price a month.

You shouldn't have to switch plans to go from a dumb phone to a smartphone of you have data included in it. What plan do you have, what's the price of the plan without extras or add one just the plan?

It's the my five plan...no data as it's an old phone. 15 extra for call display and voicemail.

Ya Unfourtunatley then you'd need a new plan if you want to move up to a smartphone and take advantage of the new medium or large tab, but then you can get a new phone for little to no money down.

If it's the 5 essentials combo, that one was 30.00 for the base plan, so you would qualify for tab m without switching. Probably still worth checking out some of the new plans since that one is nearly 5 years old.

Koodo is very flexible and full of options for clients like you, my suggestion to you is to call Koodo, expose your case, tell us what you want, and we will try to accommodate you with the best option... The options in the store are different from the options when you call into Koodo... Feel free to do it, we will try our best to keep you happy...!!!

You could always try to call Customer Service and see if you can get a discount, promotion or whatever. It's not guaranteed but it's worth a shot I guess.
